2014 – A YEAR OF MEMORIES, GREAT CATCHES and NEW FRIENDS!

Great River Fishing Adventures would like to thank all of its clients, friends and extended family for being part of another unbelievable year.  Many special moments were made this year, from the first time angler who caught his first Steelhead, to the returning angler who finally landed their dream fish after years of chasing Dino’s and even the first fly cast by some.  We had the pleasure of hosting 4600 clients this year and joining us from 27 countries.  We were the adventure of choice for birthdays, company team building days and anglers just wanting to get out on the river for a day of fun!  We had the opportunity to share many exciting experiences and were fortunate to also make some great friends along the way.

It is all of you we thank for believing in our team to make your dreams come true and allow us to fish every day!

We would like to extend our Best wishes to all of you for a wonderful Holiday Season and for a Healthy and Prosperous 2015. Hopefully many of you will be planning your next adventure or just reminiscing of the many amazing adventure experiences we have shared together.

The 2014 season we had so many incredible fishing trips but one highlight that will go down in the history books.  On June 13, 2014 – Father’s Day, Fraser Canyon – Ron and Paul Jarvis a father and son visiting from Atlanta, Georgia had the opportunity to hook into one of the true giants of the Fraser River. Ron and Paul Jarvis landed an 11ft’ 10″ total length white sturgeon.  Working together with team guide Dean Werk they were able to successfully pull off this amazing feat.  We scanned the hundred plus, year old fish and discovered it had never been tagged.  It was tagged and released back into the wild.
