The torrential rain falls have decreased the last few days and the rivers are on the drop and most are in prime shape now. This should only help the fishing, dropping river equals grabby fish, doesn’t matter the species. It’s time to dust off the rods and get on the water.

Winter rains continue to play havoc on water conditions through out the Fraser Valley.The last few days have taken our pristine clear running streams and rivers and turned them the color of cement. Every system has peaked dramatically, even the Fraser has come up hard. Prior to this insurgence of water the fishing was really getting going ...

What a wild weather ride we’re having. Last week saw temperatures rise dramatically and snow/ice turn to torrential rains. Most rivers held out for the first few days and then turned to mud. Do not despair… what goes up, must come down

Hi and welcome to the GRFA fishing report updated on the 7th of February 2017. We’re half way through one of the coldest winters in recent memory and cabin fever is rampant through out the Fraser River basin.
Do not fear, spring will come and with it another season of bounty for the fisher. Having said that… the “Time” is now and there are some fishing opportunities still available for those ardent anglers that need a break from the winter doldrums.
