FRASER
RIVER

Bar
fishing for King (Chinook) is very good
right now as the river continues to
drop steadily. King Salmon numbers in
the river are way up with the highest
counts of the season so far. All the
bars are now fishable and most are using
Bar Fishing Style. Use the old classic
Silver/Green and Silver/Red Number 2
or 0 Spin & Glows. The size restriction
on King Salmon have been lifted so you
can now keep 1 fish over 50 cm and 3
under. Use some salmon roe on the hooks
as well for some of the plentiful red
jacks migrating in close to shore.
There
are plenty of sockeye in the river but
are not open for retention so please
use proper catch and release methods
to ensure no harm to the fish.
The
drop in the river height has not affected
the Sturgeon fishing which has been
good all over the river; some of the
best have been the Ridgedale, Mosey
Rocks, Bed Springs, Tunnels and Herling.
The river is slowing down lots these
days and you can pick some nice fish
up in both faster and softer water alike.
Best baits are fresh salmon roe, salmon
fins, eels, hearts and Eulachon.
Within
the next couple of weeks some of the
best fishing of the year will arrive,
not that the fishing so far this summer
has not been good. We use big, comfortable
and safe jet boats with the best in
fishing gear and premium baits. As leaders
in Sturgeon conservation it is and has
been our dedication to handle all fish
with the best handling practices set
out by our government. We will always
put the fish first when scanning, measuring
and tagging. This unique experience
to learn about these fish hands on is
fast becoming the reason why it is one
of the most sought after “Big
Game Thrills”.

RIVER ADVENTURE
"One
of the Fraser Valley's secrets"
This
little gem of a local river can only
be accessed by jetboat. The river is
on right now! The summer months offers
incredible Sea Run Dolly Varden and
Bull Trout up to 14 pounds. These fish
are very aggressive on the big swung
articulated fly. We feel the bigger
the better!
This
river already has sockeye in it and
will soon fill up with Coho and Chum
Salmon all ready and eager to take a
fly. This is another one of the Coastal
B.C. waters best kept secrets that we
know every angler should experience.
Our team of Guides know these waters
like no others do. Book early as these
days go fast!

CHILLIWACK
LAKE
This
is a fantastic local fishery that is
so under utilized. This Lake is glacier
and hidden away just 40 minutes from
Chilliwack! Large Bull Trout and Dolly
Varden cruise the depths and can grow
over 20 pounds. Many Rainbow and Cutthroat
up to 5 pounds and masses of Kokanee
the land locked Sockeye Salmon.
Whether
fly fishing, trolling with quick fish
or bottom fishing roe, this Lake offers
excellent angling. If you are looking
to relax in one of the most scenic places
in the Fraser Valley, this trip is for
you. We encourage catch and release
on this precious Lake. |

| LILLOOET
RIVER
Another
river just a few weeks away from the
big fall salmon runs. Coho and Chum
abound in the next few months. However
Rainbow and Dolly fishing is still excellent.
We
will be running another camp in April
2009 to a very limited 6 anglers per
group over a 1 month period. We target
the river during this time for the remarkable
pristine valley fly fishing for Wild
Rainbows, Cutthroat and Char species
and even some chances at Chinook (King)
Salmon which lived up to there name
for brute strength and unbelievable
fighting ability.
This
is a very incredible experience that
every outdoorsman should not miss out
on! Call or email today to book your
adventure!

RIVER
Salmon fishing is just a couple of weeks
away on this incredible river. Already
the river is full of sockeye and shortly
the rest of the Pacific Salmon species
will arrive (less the Pink Salmon this
year as they only come on the odd years,
09,11). They all enter and spawn in
this river. Fishing opportunities will
explode and the experience is second
to none.
However
it is presently prime time Cutthroat
fishing in another glacier fed beautiful
river. Sparse Muddlers and Wolly Buggers
are the favorites for these nomadic
fry chasing fish. Intermediate clear
lines are a must for tracking these
fish. There is something special about
hunting these fish that most keen fly
anglers really enjoy.
Come on out and enjoy our 360 degree
office view! |

INTERIOR
LAKES
Stillwater
Adventures are on right now!
Due to warm days and cool evening the
fishing has been great. Lots of hatches
produce excellent rainbow fishing in
the following lakes; Hefly, Dragon,
Roche and Tunkwa.
|
|
VEDDER/CHILLIWACK
RIVER
The
summer run of Big Red Springs have been
in the river for some time now and fishing
has been steady. Sockeye have also flooded
the river but these fish can not be
retained. The first Coho which are so
highly sought after are just 2 weeks
away roughly.
Conditions
are your typical summer low and clear.
Don’t forget about the great cutthroat
fishing towards the bottom of the Vedder
Channel. Morning or evening dry fly
presentations bring them out from behind
those logs with familiar regularity.

from Europe have raved about the incredible
scenery and wild Rainbows.
