Fishing Report – Vancouver & Fraser Valley 20-02-13

Fraser River Sturgeon fishing is still producing and we are having some amazing days with clients and friends! Just ask Howard, and Brad who had an 11 fish day with commander and chief Dean at the helm. I was lucky to have the opportunity to tag along and take part in some of the frantic action that happened right from the anchor drop. There was a double header,

conservation tagging, and rods ...

Fishing Report – Vancouver & Fraser Valley 30-01-13

The Fraser River Sturgeon fishing has slowed down a little in the past week and now mirrors to the weather conditions, time of year and water temperatures. That doesn’t mean that the fish aren’t there, it just means that you have to put in some effort to find them. Great River Team guide, Shawn and I went out and did a little filming which you can ...

Well, the holidays are over and we hope you had a fantastic one!…but it’s time to get down to the business of fishing, and put that new gear to use! I know it’s late, and Fraser River sturgeon fishing season should be at a crawl right now, but our team guide’s Dave and Shawn didn’t get the memo! Right now  roe is the best ...

Fraser River Sturgeon fishing is still doing very good for this time of year. The team is still getting good numbers just ask Dave.  His hard work and persistence paid off for Meg and her group who had 18 Dino’s to the boat in six hours on Wednesday. Emily’s group also had a banner day with Dave, and 8 beauties to behold. Our Great River Team is still managing to pick up ...

2012 A SEASON FOR THE HISTORY BOOKS

Great River Fishing Adventures would like to thank all of its clients, friends like an extended family for being part of another amazing year. Fishing Report – Vancouver & Fraser Valley 06-12-12

Fraser River sturgeon fishing has been producing some good numbers and some sizable fish. Our team has been doing very well and it’s not over yet! The best way to get these

mammoths  hooked up right now is roe. I had the pleasure of getting out with Shawn, and Dave this week and I just want to share what I believe sets our Great River team apart from the rest.  Dave had ...

Fishing Report – Vancouver & Fraser Valley 26-11-12

Fraser River Sturgeon fishingis still doing well, but has slowed down from the fish mayhem in the last little while, but these monsters are still out there waiting to be hooked up. Roe is still your best bet to lure giant fish out of the depths. One of the best things about Sturgeon fishing is that you just never know when the next monster might be around the corner! Salmon fishing ...

Fishing Report – Vancouver & Fraser Valley 10-11-12

Fraser River Sturgeon fishing is excellent still  as we are moving into November.  Some of trips are still having multiple fish days.  The team is reporting some giants and 7+ footers are common place right now.   Deano has been out for the last week with the Geoff Love Group and they were consistently into sturgeon each day, with many needing to be taken to shore.

These, under water dino’s can and will make ...

Man, I love doing these reports when fishing is this good! This is definitely everyone on the team’s Favorited time of year. The Fraser River is in overdrive! This is the best fishing of the year to date. The update on the Sturgeon fishing front is that is it is still on fire, 35 fish days reported…that’s right! 35 FISH! IN A DAY!, with Lots of big fish slamming bait and ...
